Founder, eAI by TreeDots
Nicholas Lim leads eAI by TreeDots, the agentic business system used by food distributors, wholesalers, and multi-outlet F&B operators across Singapore and the wider region. He has spent the last several years working directly with SME operators on the same operational problem in different forms — customer orders arriving on WhatsApp, in voice notes, in PDFs, and in group chats, then being manually retyped into ERPs by teams that would rather be doing customer work.
eAI by TreeDots is backed by Seeds Capital, the venture investment arm of Enterprise Singapore. Its flagship product, Odello, handles WhatsApp-first order intake end-to-end for distributors and F&B operators, with integrations into existing accounting and ERP systems rather than replacing them.
Nicholas writes on this site about the operational reality of running AI systems in production: the mistake-handling architecture that separates demo-ware from real deployments, why customers won't switch to your portal, how to structure grant-funded ordering automation projects, and what actually changes for a team when the day-to-day admin work goes away.
